Sorry for the lack of updates!  It has been crazy busy, both personally and at the gallery.  I need to get back into the habit of posting on the blog regularly, as well as keeping everyone updated on Facebook and Twitter.  So expect regular updates soon.

Here are some recent shots from the gallery.  Remember, our customer appreciation sale runs through July!

Judy Margolis is a talented artist with a keen eye for painting pet portraits.  She has teamed up with Artisan Style to offer her services, which simply just require a picture of the dog to be painted and the patience to wait a few weeks to receive the final product.  Pet portraits start at only $150 for an 8″ x 10″. You can’t beat that.  Check out a few pictures of her work.

You do not want to miss the opening for “Through the Artist’s Eyes;  Three Decades of Art from Pat Kochan.”  Not only is she so sweet and talented, but she has been painting for the who’s who in Dallas long enough to make me think someone of  at least local celebrity stature will be at the opening.  I am not just saying that either, I am thinking its possible!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Alexis on opening night.  We had a great turn out and I had the chance to mingle and meet people, unlike our gallery’s grand opening.  That’s not true.  I guess I mean that I could enjoy meeting people at the Punk’d Inside opening, whereas the grand opening was one enormous blur in my memory of chaos and mayhem.

Anyways, make sure to come check out this incredible body of work Alexis has put together.  Open your minds and pretend you don’t live in Dallas for 10 minutes.  I promise you will enjoy it!  :)

With the switch to using Online Galleries for our website, I ended up losing most of my blog entries.  And the few that were left made me wonder why I ever created a blog in the first place.  So, I deleted those and am starting fresh with a new layout and all new entries.  I will be posting more pieces of art than before and still plan to keep you up on everything we have going on at the gallery.  Now I just need to figure out how to use this new layout and make it look like a blog and not a collage gone wrong.
